Guest house of the year, Aragón. We are very pleased to announce that Casa Lascorz is a Travel & Hospitality Awards Winner for 2023 in the category of Guest House of the Year, Aragón.

Best B&B. Casa Lascorz has been recognised in the KAYAK Travel Awards 2023 Spain – category best B&B. This award is based on the opinions of our guests and we want to say a special thank you to them.

Hygiene measures for Covid19. We have implemented a cleaning system according to the guidelines set out by the Institute for the Quality of Spanish Tourism. The measures include: use of PPE (masks and gloves), processes to clean the bedrooms, kitchen and communal zones and requirements for providing food service to guests. Somontano Wine Festival. Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th August 2018 The Somontano Wine Festival is celebrated every year during the first week of August in Barbastro. It is celebrated over four consecutive nights with cultural events and an exquisite variety of gastronomy on show (including tapas and wines), and offers one of the best fairs of the whole Spain. The festival offers something for everyone, including: theatre, gastronomic shows, wine tasting courses, vineyard visits and complementary activities to relax and soak up the history and heritage of the area.

Pirenostrum, Boltana. 20th to 22nd July 2018 The fair is the only one of its kind in the Pyrenees and showcases the construction of traditional instruments; bringing together music lovers and professionals, traditional music and the best constructors. A great occasion for those that want to acquire and exclusive musical instrument.

Visiting times for the Citadel of Jaca 2018.

11th and 13th of May, Jaca. Jaca will move back in time between the 11th and 13th of May, with a program of activities that recreates the customs and the costumes of the age, with the historical old city and Citadel as the backdrop and stage to events.

“The Passion”, Huesca. For many years, the Passion play has been an important part of Easter in Huesca. Performance dates and times for 2018:

Duration: 3h. 30min, with two intervals of 10 minutes.

Guided tours of medieval Jaca. Every Saturday at 11.00am. Duration 2 ½ hours. Includes the Cathederal, Romanesque collection of the Diocesan Museum, Sarcophagus, Clock Tower and Town Hall. Book at the Diocesan Museum.

“Bajo la Piel de Lobo” (Under the skin of the wolf). Sobrarbe and surrounding areas are the backdrop for a new film entitled “Bajo la Piel de Lobo”. The film was shot locally in three main areas: the abandoned hillside village of Muro de Bellos (just north of Aínsa); Valle de Pineta and the town of Boltaña, and showcases some of the impressive scenery found in this part of the Pyrenees.

10th and 11th March 2018 in Estadilla (Huesca) A festival that not only promotes jazz but the gastronomy of the area. Other Alto Aragón Jazz Tour dates include:

16th February 2018 Film festival “Mountain & Sport” in the Athletic Club Sobrarbe, Ainsa.

4th February 2018 A great selection of local food producers at the fair in Aínsa yesterday along with plants, farm stock and antiques.

8th – 11th February 2018 The Bielsa Carnival happens this coming weekend (8-11 February). This is one of the most important and traditional festivals in the Pyrenees; it marks the prelude to Lent and every year it attracts many visitors.

14th April 2018 Two routes, long route 101 km and a shorter route of 55km.

February and March 2018 The festival is visiting our local area in February and March with dates/venues as follows:
